Nexcellent Energy has achieved another major milestone! Jen Yi Construction Co., Ltd., a specialist in large-scale public infrastructure projects, has rented Nexcellent Energy’s 80 kW hydrogen generator (GEH2). The generator is being used to power ventilation systems for a project in Hukou, Hsinchu, before the main power grid (Taipower) is connected.
This marks the first time a public project in Taiwan has used a hydrogen generator instead of a diesel generator. We are bringing clean hydrogen technology directly to construction sites, creating new options for temporary power.
Traditional diesel generators are noisy and produce polluting exhaust that can affect surrounding communities. In contrast, our hydrogen fuel cell generator produces zero carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, or PM2.5 emissions. It also operates very quietly, helping protect the quality of life for people living nearby, especially in densely populated urban areas.
Our rental model allows companies to access clean energy when they need it without purchasing the equipment. This helps keep projects on schedule while reducing environmental impact.
Thank you to Jen Yi Construction Co., Ltd. for working with us. We also invite other rental companies to join us in making construction sites quieter and cleaner.
